JUNK REMOVAL FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common customer questions.
Is 1866 Junk Be Gone free?
No, 1866 Junk Be Gone is a paid service offering comprehensive junk removal. Our pricing includes everything: picking up items from wherever they’re located, loading them into the truck, cleaning up the area, and covering any disposal or recycling fees. We provide an upfront price before starting the job, ensuring no surprises. Our pricing is strictly volume based, with a minimum of $200 which includes 5 cubic yards. That doesn’t apply to heavy materials such as aggregate & concrete. Just point, and we’ll take care of the rest! For more details, refer to our FAQ.
What is a no-obligation onsite estimate?
To provide an accurate price, we need to see your items in person since we charge based on the space your items occupy in our truck. Our trucks can hold the equivalent of seven pickup trucks’ worth of junk. If you’re happy with the price, we’ll proceed. If not, no problem—just let us know, and we’ll be on our way. Estimates via pics are encouraged to give an accurate estimate prior to our team arriving.
How does 1866 Junk Be Gone charge for junk removal?
Our pricing is based on the volume your items occupy in our truck, which can range from 1/8 of a truckload to a full truckload. Each of our trucks has the capacity to hold the equivalent of seven pickup trucks’ worth of junk.
Prices vary by location due to different local disposal and recycling fees, and we have a minimum charge that also varies. We will provide you with a close estimate before visiting your location and then give you a firm, no-obligation price once we see the items in person.
For materials with a heavy cubic weight, such as dirt, concrete, and gravel, pricing is based on volume with a maximum height of one foot for a full truckload.
Can I get an exact price before you arrive?
We can’t give an exact price over the phone since we need to see the items to determine the volume they occupy in our truck. For some single item removals, we can provide an estimated price, but the final price is given onsite. The best way to get a price is to book a free, no-obligation onsite estimate here.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and major credit cards, with some locations offering additional payment options. Payment is processed only after the job is complete.
Should I tip the junk removal team?
Tips are not expected or required, but our teams certainly appreciate them! If you feel they did a great job, you’re welcome to tip as you see fit. For more information, please refer to our FAQ.
